Americans with Disabilities ActAccording to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, "Las Vegas has more accessible guest rooms than any city in the nation — perhaps even the world." Out-of-state permits are recognized in Las Vegas. Bring your dashboard parking permit if you drive your own car or if you plan to rent a car. Temporary parking permits are available through the Department of Motor Vehicles. All public transit buses are ADA-accessible. For riding a bus, called CAT Paratransit in Las Vegas, bring your certificate and use it up to 21 days without Nevada certification. Call 702-455-0997, one to three days in advance to schedule a ride. Taxicab companies have taxicabs available 24 hours which are wheelchair- and scooter-accessible.
